Many members of Paraiso were in Rio throughout the carnival period.
Henrique, our President, has been e member of GRES Mangueira since he was a child and has been a Passista there for many years and paraded with GRES Mangueira again this year.
His energy, captured by O Dia photgrapher André Luiz Mello, appeared on the paper's front page on 5 February 2008.
