Estácio de Sá managed a double page spread in the Guardian newspaper with the same photo appearing in Guardian Unlimited online . It was a magnificant show. Mestre Esteves was in the media spotlight in Rio so, in addition to leading the final rehearsals, he frequently appeared on TV. Several Paraiso members were privileged to play with the bateria - one of Rio's finest. |
