The Mayor's Thames Festival
Night Carnival

Paraiso School of Samba brings 150 people in lavish costume for a Rio-style carnival experience.

 


The Procession sets up on Victoria Embankment by Embankment Tube station. It then proceeds east and crosses the Thames at Blackfriars Bridge. It goes down Upper Ground and finishes at the National Theatre. The procession starts at 7.30 and reaches the National at 9.30. It takes approximately thirty minutes to pass a given point. [map]
