Dingwalls

Paraiso's Bateria led by Mestre Esteves added extra energy to the electric atmosphere in Dingwalls for the World Cup showing by Second Intentions. Paraiso helped get the crowd going and kept them on a high by playing continuously from the first goal until victory was declared.

Trafalgar Square

Following a victory procession around Camden Lock (see BBC website & video clip) the Bateria put on a real show for the crowd in Trafalgar Square. Anyone who thought things were wild enough when Paraiso arrived was in for a big surprise. The Paraiso Bateria played for three hours and whenever they moved to another location the crowd followed. Mestre Esteves not only led the Bateria but, with equal skill, 'conducted' the entire crowd. No-one who was there will forget Paraiso's performance.
