Mangueira is
Brazil's largest and best known samba school.
Mangueira's visit was the
first ever appearance of their show bateria in the UK.
Puxador
Leandro
performed, together with cavaquinho and 9 piece show bateria,
live on stage outside Sadler's Wells Theatre after parading
with Paraiso in the Sadler's Wells Carnival parade.
 The
Mangueira show, which was on a European tour, spent the
weekend in London as guests of Paraiso and took the Paraiso
percussion workshop on Sunday 23 July.
