The Spring Carnival, at London's Dorchester Hotel on 27 April 2008, was organised by the Gt Ormond Street Hospital Spring Carnival Committee in association with Paraiso School of Samba.

The event was a fund raiser for a new MRS Recovery Room at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.

Paraiso perfomed at the event and many Paraiso members spent the afternoon ensuring that the kids and parents were entertained in true Brazilian style.
