We will refund voluntary donations if you request this within 30 days of making the donation.
The cost of a new Paraiso Card or a replacement card covers the cost of making a personalised item and is, therefore, not refundable.
The cost of a Paraiso PassCard includes the current cost of a new card, if you do not have one already, and the remainder of the cost is a fee for benefits for a period of one year from the date of issue. As explained above, the cost (if any) relating to a new card is not refundable. The fee for benefits is refundable within 30 days of purchase: the amount refunded will be the annual fee less any benefits used at full price less 3% credit card charges. No refund can be made after 30 days of purchase.
The unused refundable TopUp balance on your card is refundable at any time. The amount refunded will be the balance less 3% (to cover credit/debit card charges.
Classes paid for online
If you are dissatisfied with a class you attend, you must notify us immediately after the class. If you have purchased a single class then we will refund the amount in full. If you have purchased a quantity of classes at a discounted rate, then we will refund the total amount you have paid less the cost of classes already attended (ie, prior to that with which you were dissatisfied) charged at the advertised full rate.
Courses paid for online
If you are dissatisfied with any workshop you attend which forms part of a course, please notify us immediately after the workshop. We will try to resolve any issues but, if we are unable to do this, we will refund that portion of the fee related to that workshop and subsequent workshops but not any previous workshops.
We cannot refund any part of the course fee due to your inability to attend for any reason.
Carnival registration fee
Full payment of the relevant Carnival Registration fee entitles you to parade with Paraiso School of Samba at the Notting Hill Carnival in the costume provided by us.
We will refund your registration fee within 7 days of purchase or up to 45 days before the Notting Hill Carnival, provided that you return all costumes and costume components in the condition they were received.
If you wish to cancel your registration after that time, but before Notting Hill Carnival, and you return all costumes and costume components to us in the condition they were received in, we will try to find someone to replace you. If we are successful, we will refund any payments you have made towards your registration fee less any shortfall in the registration fee received from your replacement and any costs associated with finding your replacement.
We cannot refund your registration fee during or after Notting Hill Carnival under any circumstances.
Tickets to events
In the event of cancellation or disruption, we will refund the ticket price in full.
We accept the return of other items only if they are unopened and in their original condition.
In the case of clothing, we can accept return only if the item has not been worn.
If you return goods, as detailed above, within 30 days of receipt, we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
Defective items and errors
You can always return items if they are defective or if we have made a mistake in sending the item to you.
Please note we accept returns of items that have been opened only ifthey are defective.
Please see "To return an item", below, for details of how to return such items to us.
If you are returning an item because of error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us.
Otherwise, you will be responsible for those charges and we will deduct them from your refund.
To return an item
Before you return an item, we suggest that you contact us first. We may be able to arrange collection.
To return an item, please fill out the back of the delivery slip giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address below. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault in the space provided and return the defective item in its original packing (if any). Then send the package to the address below.
